Bonnie Lou (Johnson) Ainsley, 73, of Smithfield, Pa., passed away with her loving family by her side and went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.

She was born March 23, 1944 in Point Marion, Pennsylvania daughter of Osborne and Mary (Bircher) Johnson.

Her parents and siblings, Carol Ann Bottoms, Ronald Johnson and Osborne Johnson Jr., preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Melvin Ainsley; children: Kim Ainsley, Richard Ainsley and Scott Ainsley daughter-in-law, Hope Ainsley; Scott’s girlfriend Tammy Sutton; grandchildren: Richard and Kara Ainsley, Molly Ludrosky, Zack and Tess Ludrosky; great grand children: Arianna and Easton Ainsley; sister-in- law and brother-in-law, Mary Louise and Fred Close; and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was a faithful member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church at Old Frame.

The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m

Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 12 from 10 until 11 a.m. in OAK HILL BAPTIST CHURCH AT OLD FRAME, Smithfield, Pa. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Alvie Edwards officiating.

Interment will follow in Jacob’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
