1 min read

State Rep. Justin Walsh, R-Rostraver Township, is hosting a senior expo on Thursday at Turkeytown Volunteer Fire Department, 90 Supervisors Drive, West Newton.

“I am excited to host my first senior expo,” Walsh said. “A lot of good information and valuable health screenings will be available for senior citizens, their family members and caregivers. I hope to see a large crowd take advantage of this opportunity.”

The expo is free to attend and will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Seniors who attend the expo will have the opportunity to visit with more than 50 local, state and federal agencies and organizations offering information on programs and services available to seniors. Flu shots will be available, but an insurance card is required. Free blood pressure, oxygen and spine screenings also will be offered, along with balance assessments.

For more information, contact Walsh’s offices at 724-929-2655 or 724-542-0349, or visit his website at www.RepWalsh.com.

Walsh’s district includes the Westmoreland County areas of Monessen, Rostraver Township, Mount Pleasant, North Belle Vernon, West Newton and part of East Huntingdon Township.
