William V. Lowery
William V. Lowery, 75, of Point Marion, Pa., died Friday, October 13, 2017 at West Virginia University Hospital.
He was born August 2, 1942 in Jamison, Pa., son of Charles E. Lowery and Anna Kushon Lowery
“Bill” was a Truck Driver and retired from Crimbly Trucking.
He also worked for Hillman Barge.
He attended Redeemed Baptist Church.
He was member of the Pals Club in Masontown, enjoyed hunting, golfing, and watching Steelers football and NASCAR. He loved spending time with family. His great grandchildren brought him great joy.
Bill was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Richard, Robert and James.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 51 years, Sandra (Garski) Lowery, and six children: Deborah (Randy) Beck, Tina (Ed) Kinzey, William V. (Sharon) Lowery Jr., Carol Lowery, Charles Lowery, Keith Lowery; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sister, Dolores Griffith; brothers: Charles Lowery and Edgar G. Lowery; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, Pa., Monday, October 16, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m and Tuesday until 10:00 a.m., the hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor French Jenkins will officiate.
Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
