Yolanda M. Kovach, age 90, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in County Personal Care Home of Bentleyville, PA.
She was born on June 22, 1927 in Brownsville, PA
Daughter of the late Stephen J. and Mary (Koleszar) Kovach.
Yolanda attended The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, PA.
She was employed G.C. Murphy and Fashion Cleaners both in Brownsville, PA
then she moved to Ohio where she worked as an operator for Bell Telephone and General Electric Companies.
Yolanda was well known for her baking and was taught the art of making wedding cakes and cookies for weddings.
She is survived by her sister: Mary Y. Seibert – Pittsburgh, PA
3 brothers: Stephen J. Kovach II and wife Gloria – Morristown, NJ
Joseph E. Kovach – Moline, IL
John J. Kovach – Morgantown, WV
Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends are invited to attend A Memorial Funeral Mass for Yolanda on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:00AM at The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, PA with Rev. Fr. Alvin Cabungcal as celebrant. Everybody please meet at St. Peter’s for 10:00AM.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
