Kathryn Leonard VanNosdeln “Flip”
Kathryn (Leonard) “Flip” VanNosdeln, 79, of Ohiopyle, Pa., went home to be with the Lord on October 19th, 2017.
She was the pianist at Start Junction Baptist Church for 13 years and involved in ministry there with her husband, Don.
She served as Coordinator of Administrative Affairs for 28 years at Pressley Ridge of Ohiopyle, was a Notary Public, and also served for the Board of Elections.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard A. VanNosdeln, to whom she was married for 42 years; also her parents, Russell and Georgia Leonard.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Don Bowser; two sons: David Alan VanNosdeln and wife Tammy of Ohiopyle, Pa., and Daniel Curtis VanNosdeln and wife Sherry of Grantsville, Maryland; step-daughters: Pam Hughes of Mill Run, Pa., Selena Tressler of Mill Run, Pa., Laverne Hager and husband Mark of Farmington, Pa.; five grandchildren: Robert Stark and wife Emily, Rebecca Butler and husband Ryan, Lauren VanNosdeln, Ryan VanNosdeln, and Rachel VanNosdeln; three great grandchildren: Cali Butler, Beaux Butler, and Delilah Stark; six step grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren; and one brother, Russell “Joe” Leonard of Grantsville, Maryland.
Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., today, October 22, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m and Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., the hour of Service. Reverend John DeVincent will officiate.
Interment will be in Irwin Cemetery.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.
