Several preliminary hearings were held this past week in Fayette and Greene counties. The results include:

Ronald Ray Cramer, 60, of Fairchance waived a simple assault charge to the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas at his preliminary hearing Tuesday, where an aggravated assault charge was withdrawn before Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr. He was released from jail after his $75,000 bail was changed to unsecured.

He is accused of assaulting a woman at his West Church Street home Aug. 25.
