Warren Herring “Dutch”
Warren “Dutch” Herring, 94, of South Daytona, Florida completed his journey Monday October 23, 2017
He was born on Monday March 12, 1923 in Farmington, Pa., to Walter and Edith (Hager) Herring.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian (Zema) in 1984; his parents; and his brother, Huston Herring.
Survived by his children Thomas Herring and wife Beth of Port Orange, Florida, Melody Herring of South Daytona, Florida, and Rob Herring of Farmington, Pa.; grand son, James Hartsell and great grandson, Elliott; grandson Lee Wood and wife Ruha and great grandson Zack. He also leaves many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins.
Warren was a United States Army veteran of World War II.
Earlier in his life he was in the trucking business and later became a Volkswagen dealer with his father and brother in Uniontown, Pennsylvania until his retirement in Florida.
Warren was the last surviving original member of the Farmington Fire Department.
He was the best father who married the best mother of the luckiest three children in the world.
