Andrew Patrick Pecosh 45, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away after a period of poor health on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017.

A longtime resident of California, Pa., he most recently resided with family in Enola, Pa. Andrew was born on July 1st, 1972 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Andrew was a man of strong faith and great humor. He took tremendous pride in his Catholic beliefs and his Irish heritage. He may or may not have believed in Sasquatch-but he knows the answer to that question for sure now.

He was a great lover of books and arcane (some might say “useless”) knowledge and was thus the anchor of any trivia team. *Andrew was the most creative of souls, and nobody could tell a joke or relate a story better.

Andrew was a 1990 graduate of Brownsville Area High School, and most recently was employed as an Office Administrator for Pecosh Counseling & Consulting LLC, where he will be greatly missed by clients and staff alike.

He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Mary, in September, 1979.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Dr. Joseph and Patricia Pecosh of Brownsville, Pa.; his sisters, Maureen (John) Mattiello of Enola, Pa., Susan (Bradley) Greene of Redwood City, California, Kathleen (Hubert) White of State College, Pa.; and brothers, Michael (Lindsay) Pecosh of Washington, Pa., and Thomas (Laura) Pecosh of Pittsburgh, Pa. He also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews, Mary, Faith, Scott, Eamonn, Andrew, Isabelle, William, and Elliott. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, and loved animals great and small.

Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 8 in SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa.*

A Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in The Historic Church of Saint Peter, Brownsville, with the Reverend Timothy J. Kruthaupt as celebrant.*

Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
