Nancy L. Brauer Stone
Nancy L. (Brauer) Stone, age 79, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and Fort Lauderdale, Florida died peacefully, Monday, September 4, 2017.
She was born October 9, 1937 in Washington, Pennsylvania daughter of Benjamin Brauer and Isabelle (Morgan) Brauer
In addition to his parents, Nancy was also preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Morris; brother, George Brauer; and a sister, Eleanor Kweller.
Nancy was a graduate of Uniontown High School with the Class of 1955 and then attended nursing school in Pittsburgh.
She belonged to the Coral Ridge Country Club, Uniontown Country Club, the Nemacolin 400 Club, Uniontown Garden Club and Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
Her family was the most important aspect of life.
Left to cherish Nancy’s memory are her husband H. Donald Stone Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and her seven sons: Kevin L. Morris and wife Lora of Grindstone, Pa., Jeffrey A. Morris and wife Pamela of Allison Park, Pa., Christopher J. Morris of Battle Creek, Michigan, H. Donald Stone III and wife Doris of York, Pa., Graham M. Stone and wife Rena of Burke, Virginia, Jay B. Bachar and wife Mary of Chesapeake, Maryland and Douglas J. Bachar and wife Ronda of Morgantown, West Virginia; twenty-one grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania where friends will be received today, Thursday September 7, 2017 from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a Service celebrating Nancy’s life with the Reverend James Gear officiating.
Interment will be private.
Visditation was also held Wednesday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m
