Robert Fike “Miney”
Robert “Miney” Fike, age 77, Markleysburg, Pa passed away suddenly on Friday September 8, 2017
He was born March 5, 1940 in Markleysburg, Pa., son of the late Russell and Mary Fike.
In addition to his parents, Miney was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Rishel and Ralph Rishel; and a sister Imogene VanSickle
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, JoAnn (Savage) Fike; two sons: Eric Fike and girlfriend Wendy Beiler and her daughters Payton and Jordyn, and Chris Fike and wife Kayla; brother, Duane Fike and wife Linda; and sister, Vivian Stinger and husband Joe; and many nieces and nephews.
Miney worked for Dennis Lumber for 25 years, retired from Green Acres in 2002, and was a Supervisor for Henry Clay Township.
Miney was a member of Markleysburg-Henry – Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department.
Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., today, Sunday, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday September 11, 2017 from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service in the funeral home. Reverend John DeVincent will officiate.
Interment in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg.
