Shirley J. Meadows Goudy
Shirley J. (Meadows) Goudy, 78, of Chalk Hill, Pa., passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born July 5, 1939 at Richwood, West Virginia daughter of the late Eliza and Wavie (Hammond) Meadows.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister and two brothers, Julia Owens, Robert Meadows and Ed Meadows.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Robert “Bob” Goudy; two sons: Fred Goudy and wife Tammy of Elliottsville, Pa., and David Goudy and wife Deborah of Ohiopyle, Pa.; two sisters: Irene Dean and husband Jim of Ravenswood, West Virginia and Rae Dean also of Ravenswood, West Virginia.
Shirley was employed with Ohiopyle Prints for over ten years and had been a Den Mother with Cub Scouts Pack 685 in Farmington, Pa.
Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa., today 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 13, from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m., the hour of Service with Reverend David Herring officiating
Interment will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Chalk Hill, Pa.
