Frank R. Sytko, age 57 Smock, Pa., passed away suddenly August 11, 2017 due to natural causes.

He was born June 30, 1960 in Uniontown, Pa.

Frank went to Laurel Highlands Senior High School and after completing his junior year he received his G.E.D and enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was stationed at George Air Force Base in Victorville, California.

After receiving an honorable discharge he then moved to Newbury Park, California in 1984. He was employed by Bidwell Concrete. He was known by his family, friends and co-workers as “DAWG”. In 1996, he moved to Hopwood, Pa.

He loved cruising on his Harley, weekend getaways to Las Vegas or a relaxing day at the Santa Anita Race Track. His interests were collecting Army memorabilia, boating, music, football, basket ball, enjoyed playing cards and horseshoes. He had great love and respect for his three Pit Bulls, Champ, Tyson and Hemler, all awaiting him at Rainbow Bridge.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Sytko.

He is remembered with love by his mother Sophie of Erie, Pa.; siblings: James and fianc*e Missy of Ormond Beach, Florida, Cynthia (Sytko) Nelson and husband Mike of Simi Valley, California, and Kevin and wife Dusty of Camarillo, California; nephew, James Jr. and fiance* Nicole of Erie, Pa.; nieces, Jordynn and Samantha, and nephew, K.C., all of Camarillo; great nephew, Aiden, and great nieces, Olivia and Rilynn also of Camarillo; and great nephew, Niko, of Erie, Pa.

A loving son and brother, Frank will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Arrangements were handled by the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME and were private.
