Emilia Grace Jerico
Emilia Grace Jerico was born on Monday, September 11th, 2017 at 11:07 p.m. to loving parents Ryan and Brittany Jerico of Perryopolis, Pa. She was perfect, beautiful, weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches long. Her family was blessed with the nine most glorious days of their lives with Emilia. She passed away at home, in her parents’ arms and went to her heavenly home at 7:14 p.m. on September 19th after her brave journey with the congenital heart disease, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
During her brief visit on earth, “Emmy” enjoyed holding hands with her brother and sister, hugs and kisses from her family, listening as her mommy and daddy sang her songs, laying outside under a breeze and being told “I love you” an uncountable number of times.
In addition to her parents, Emilia is survived by big brother, Tyler; big sister, Gabriella; grandparents: John and Renee Balaz of Uniontown, Pa., and Todd and Anna Shumaker of Canonsburg Pa.; great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and many others.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Richard A. Jerico Jr. (Susan).
Emilia will always remain in her parent’s hearts and they will hold her again in Heaven one day. Emilia’s heart is now whole again. All she ever knew was love.
