Rose Anderson Kodric
Rose Anderson Kodric, 91, Continental One, Pa., died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Uniontown Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 18, 1926 in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late Nicholas and Margaret (Adams) Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Kodric siblings, Charles Anderson, Dorothy Ballard, Louis Anderson, Nicholas Anderson, James Anderson, Mary Ange, John Anderson and Theresa Norris.
Rose is survived by her brother, Steve Andrasy and his wife Irene of Masontown, Pa.; sister, Alma Arcangellini of Ohio; brother-in-law, Daniel Kodric of East Lake, Ohio; sister-in-law, Agatha Kodric of Continental One; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews. Rose also leaves behind many dear friends.
She was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club Ladies Auxiliary and AMVETS Post 103 Ladies Ladies Auxiliary, and a Life Member of the American Legion Post 51 in Uniontown and the North Union Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8543.
Friends will be received at STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.*
The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant. All family members and friends should go directly to Church on Thursday morning by 9:45 a.m.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa
The Parish Wake Service led by the Lazarus Ministry will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.
The AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary will hold Services in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. followed by the American Legion Post 51 Ladies Auxiliary at 6:30 p.m.
