Mary Jane Maximo, age 83, of East Millsboro, PA passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at her home.

She was born on October 5, 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland, daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (McMahon) Calder.

She attended Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of New Salem, PA. She was the former owner of The Chuck Wagon Restaurant in Brownsville, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Maximo, her daughter, Paula Struthers, her son, Paul David Maximo and her seven brothers and sisters.

Mary Jane is survived by her two daughters, Guinevere E. Maximo and Maxine E. Maximo-Legros; Her grandchildren, Paul David Maximo, Jr., Mhairi Struthers, Heather McCallum, Franchesca Legros and Tyler Legros; Great grandchildren, Tony Maximo, Shannon Tonner, Liam Maximo, Karley McCallum and Layla McCallum. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, PA 15417 on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4-8 PM and on Saturday until 10:00 AM when a Panachida Service will be held followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 91 South Mill Street, New Salem, PA, with Rev. Fr. Vitaly Dudkin as celebrant. Interment will follow in Acklin Cemetery.
