Albert W. Dellinger “Chicken”

Albert W. “Chicken” Dellinger, 88, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in the Henry Clay Villa.

He was born February 15, 1930 in Wickhaven, Pa., son of the late James and Laura Dellinger.

He was predeceased by his wife, Leona Seese Dellinger; two sons, Bill R. Dellinger and Bob Seese; a daughter-in-law, Lorraine Seese; several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are a daughter, Sandy Gleason and husband Les of Elliottsville, Pa.; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; a daughter-in-law, Janet Dellinger of Connellsville

He was a lifetime member of Union Chapel Church.

He was an area Forest Fire Warden and was a retired Custodian with Uniontown Area School District.

Albert was a member of the Markleysburg -Henry Clay Fire Department.

Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 2 to 8 p.m and Wednesday, April 3, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., the hour of the Service. Pastor David Herring will officiate. Markleysburg-Henry Clay Fire Department will conduct services at 7pm.
