Thomas Andrew Radvansky

Thomas Andrew Radvansky, 80, Leckrone, Pa., passed away April 3, 2018 at the Uniontown, Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
He was born in Lewis Crossing, Pa., on May 12, 1937 the son of the late Andrew and Hannah Cunningham Radvansky.
Tom was a graduate of German High School, Class of 1955.
After graduating, he served proudly in the United States Navy aboard the USS Natahalla as a First Class Boilermaker.
Years later he attended a Trade School for Carpentry in McKees Rocks, Pa., and earned a diploma.
He was employed as a Coal Miner at Buckeye Mine in Greene County until it closed.
After that, he was employed for many years as the Grounds Keeper at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Saint Mary Church, Leckrone, Pa.
He enjoyed building furniture for many people over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Carmella (Mancuso) Radvansky; two sons: Thomas A. Radvansky Jr. and wife Diane of Uniontown, Pa., Andrew M. Radvansky of Lititz, Pa.; daughters: Kathleen Nicholson and husband William of Rices Landing, Pa., Marleen Townsend and husband Jerry of Barboursville, Virginia, and Susan Radvansky and Charles Worthington of Leckrone, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Kimberly, Jeffrey, Maria, Samara, Shaya, Andrew Jr. and Nicholas; sister, Patricia Triplett of Masontown, Pa.; brother Edward E. Radvansky of North Olmsted, Ohio.

Also special thanks to John Davis for always being there and whom Tom lovingly called his “other son”.
Friends received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, Seven River Ave., Masontown, Pa., on Friday 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 7, 2018 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church, Masontown, Pa., with Reverend Father William G. Berkey as Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Leckrone, where Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post 423 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4584.
