California woman charged with allegedly trying to break into ex’s home
A California Borough woman has been charged with burglary after she allegedly continuously attempted to enter her ex-boyfriend’s Smithton home.
Brenna Lynn O’Hare, 28, was charged with burglary and two counts of criminal mischief by Belle Vernon State Police before Magisterial District Judge Charles Christner on April 5.
According to the criminal complaint, O’Hare texted her ex-boyfriend, Adam Hall, and told him that she was going to go to his home to get some of her stuff on March 1.
Hall told O’Hare he wasn’t home and that she would have to come over later, but O’Hare stated to him that she was going to go to his home anyway.
When Hall arrived at his home, he saw O’Hare gaining entrance through a front window.
He ran inside the home and pushed O’Hare back out, but O’Hare then attempted to break in through the side door and struck the door multiple times with a brick, damaging the door and knocking off the doorknob.
O’Hare then fled from the home onto the street and then threw a brick at Hall’s car, causing damage to the front bumper.
A summons has been issued to O’Hare to report to a preliminary arraignment at 9 a.m. April 27 at Christner’s office.
