Alice Virginia (Lee) Edwards, 91, California, Pa., died Monday, April 9, 2018.
She was born Tuesday, January 18, 1927 daughter of Gilbert Lee and Loretta Johnson Lee
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brad Edwards; grandson, Bradlee Dean; brother, Gilbert Lee Jr.; sister, Mary Conners.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 72 years, George C. Edwards; three children: Virginia Prosba of Marietta, Georgia, Craig Edwards of California, Pa., and Georgene Dean and husband Marvin of Bentleyville, Pa.; and brother, Thomas Lee and wife Sandy of Roscoe, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Debra Prosba, James Prosba, James Burnett and wife Amber, Kirstin Mahoney and husband Dan, Allison Testa and husband Angelo, Wesley Dean, and Alex Dean; and great grandchildren: Zachary Prosba and wife Jennifer, Enzo and Rocco Testa, Charlotte Burnett, and Hannah Prosba.
Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in funeral home with Pastor Brian Downes officiating.
Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa., will be private for the family.
