A warrant was issued for a Leckrone man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl while she was sleeping.

Justin Paul Vaught, 21, of Leckrone No. 2 Road is charged with three counts each of aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault and one count each of unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors for the alleged incident during the summer of 2016 when he was 19.

The girl told police Vaught performed a sex act on her while she was asleep, causing severe pain that woke her up.

She said he also forced her hand into his pants, according to the affidavit of probable cause filed in his case.

The Herald-Standard does not identify those who allege they are victims of sexual crimes.

She told investigators she did not consent, and was 14 at the time, according to court paperwork.

German Township Police questioned Vaught, Monday. He reportedly admitted to “having a relationship” with the girl and performing the sex act on her. He told police he had her parents’ permission to date her, and claimed he thought she was 15 or 16 at the time, court documents said.

Charges were filed Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Daniel C. Shimshock.
