Robert Franklin Lincoln Jr.
Robert Franklin Lincoln Jr., age 76, of Point Marion, Pa., passed away peacefully Tuesday April 17, 2018 at home.
Born in Springhill Township Fayette County Pa., on August 20, 1941, he was a son of Betty (Drew) Lincoln of Point Marion, Pa., and the late Robert Lincoln Sr.
A member of the last graduating class of the former Point Marion High School in 1960, he had worked in various glass plants in the Morgantown area.
Robert was veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was proud of his twelve years of service with the United States Marine Corps for which he received a number of commendations and medals. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 747 and the American Legion Post 499, both of Point Marion.
In addition to his beloved mother, he is survived by two daughters: Patricia Morales of Brookville, Florida and Daisy Michelle Graham and husband Raymond of Lake Lynn, Pa.; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Dale (Susan) Frazee of Point Marion, Pa.; and his loving and caring companion of many years, Daisy Sanders.
He was also predeceased by a son, James Lincoln, and two brothers, David Lincoln and Rodney Lincoln.
Friends will be received in RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, April 23, until 11:00 a.m., the hour of Service with Reverend Jack Roth officiating.
Interment will follow in the Little Arlington Section of Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion with Full Military Rites and Honors accorded by the Point Marion Veterans posts.
