John R. Williams
John R. Williams, age 76, of Uniontown passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Uniontown Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born February 8, 1942 in Uniontown, Pa, son of the late John B. Williams Jr. and Gladys M. Henderson Williams.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Annette Marie Williams.
Mr. Williams attended Bethel Baptist Church in Uniontown, He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Anchor Hocking cap plant. He was a member of AMVETS Post 103. He loved radio controlled airplanes.
He is survived by his wife Dorine Thompson Williams, a son John C. Williams and wife Nancy of Uniontown, twin grandchildren Matthew and Miranda, brothers and sisters, Donald Williams and wife Connie, Edward Williams, Cathy Baird all of Uniontown and Jay Williams and wife Patty of Hopwood.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa. Sunday, April 22 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and Monday until 11 am the hour of service with Pastor Brian Kelly officiating, Interment in Christ Lutheran Cemetery. Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by AMVETS Post 102.
