Investigative details still delayed in Connellsville triple shooting

Officials have yet to release additional details in a triple shooting that left two dead and one seriously injured in Connellsville, April 17.
That night, Nicole Lynn Kinneer, 37, of Connellsville was pronounced dead at 306 Hill St., where she was fatally shot at about 8:30 p.m. Darren Kyle Ruvo, 36, of Connellsville was taken to Highlands Hospital in Connellsville by ambulance, where he was also pronounced dead. George Rohal, 65, was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with serious injuries. He is now in stable condition.
Connellsville police said they are waiting to release information on the shooter pending an interview with Rohal. That interview will be delayed until he is medically cleared to speak with police, according to Cpl. Bryan Kendi.
Autopsies were conducted on the deceased, which determined both Kinneer and Ruvo died from gunshot wounds, according to information released by the Fayette County Coroner last week. The manner of death was withheld, pending toxicology results, according to the coroner’s office.
Toxicology screenings can take about 30 to 60 days to be returned. The manner of death determines whether the deceased died by homicide, suicide, accident, natural causes or whether the results are pending or undetermined.
