Warren C. Morris Jr. “Junior”
Warren C. Morris Jr., “Junior”, age 67, of Masontown, Pa., lost his long battle with cancer Friday, April 27, 2018. He fought this horrible disease until he had no fight left.
Left to cherish Juniors memories are his wife of 45 years, Sharon, who never left his side; his loving mother, Patricia Morris, whom he adored; three children: Patricia “Tricia” and her husband William “Bill” Zitney, Warren C. Morris III “JR” and his wife Amy, Tonya Morris and her fianc* Richard “Ricky” Hoffman.
Junior was a hero to his grandchildren: Blair Shea, Noah Zitney, Kacey Shea, Heidi Shea, Caleb Zitney, Aidan Morris; step grandchildren: Courtney Hoffman and Tyler Hoffman. He is also survived by siblings: Lawrence “Larry” Morris, Donald Morris, James Morris, George Morris, Audrey Balbach, Susan Schroyer, Elizabeth Brown, Paula Guthrie; many brothers- in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Waiting with open arms was Junior’s father and best friend, Warren C. Morris Sr.; sister, Darla Dedo, nephew, Adam Morris; mother-in-law, Leona Gallan; and his beloved dogs, Bear and Lucy.
Junior was a great provider for his family by driving truck for over 40 years and was devastated when his health problems caused him to retire.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4584 and American Legion Post 423 both in Masontown and Fayette County DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
He was a decorated United States Marine who proudly served his Country in the Vietnam War.

Family and Friends will be received in the BERNARD M. TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME, 220 South Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today, Sunday, April 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m
Visitation will continue on Monday, April 30, in MASONTOWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of Service. The Reverend Debbie Lambert will officiate.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery McClellandtown, Pa., where the Masontown Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion will accord Full Military Rites and Honors.
