Preliminary hearings 4-29-18
Several preliminary hearings were held this week in Fayette County. The results include:
Michael R. Wiltrout, 33, of Dunbar waived charges of robbery, simple assault, terroristic threats, theft, receiving stolen property and a harassment citation to the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas for allegedly robbing Honey Bear gas station in Connellsville March 7. He was released from Fayette County Prison after his $75,000 bond was changed from monetary to unsecured by Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty Jr.
Justin P. Vaught, 21, of Leckrone was held for court on charges of three counts each of aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault and one count each of unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors for allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old girl while she was sleeping in the summer of 2016 when he was 19. He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
David E. Richter, 43, of Uniontown waived charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13, indecent exposure, criminal use of a communication facility, corruption of minors and 15 counts of child pornography for allegedly sexually assaulting a 4-year-old boy and possessing hundreds of files of child pornography, included apparent images of the alleged victim. He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $225,000 bond.
