Camdon W. Inks Jr. “Bud”

Camdon W. “Bud” Inks, Jr., 97 years, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his residence with loving family at his side.

He was born October 5, 1920 in Uniontown, Pa.

Preceding him in death were his parents Camdon W. Inks and Callie (Garlock) Inks; his wife. Madalyn (Liston) Inks; and eight siblings, Robert L. Pegg, Gertrude Hartzell, Alice Welter, Pearl Carlson, Mildred Baer, Evelyn May Inks, Ruth Pegg, Grace Pegg.

Camdon served honorably in United States Army Air Corps during World War II.

He owned/operated Mack’s Tire Service for over 41 years.

He was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47.

Surviving are six children: Karen A. Kochis and husband Thomas and Ileen Monahan and husband James all of Uniontown, Pa, Diane M. Maurey and husband Terry of Allison Park, Pa., David W. Inks and wife Diane of Florida, Edward A. Inks and wife Andrea of California state, and Christina M. Fike and husband Warren of Smithfield, Pa.; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday, August 8, from 2 to 8 p.m and on Thursday until 9:30 AM when Prayers of Transfer will be said followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. John the Evangelist RC Church, 50 Jefferson St. Uniontown, PA.

Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
