Augustine E. Jerome “Augie”
Augustine E. Jerome “Augie” 82 of Fairchance, Pa. passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
He was born January 19, 1936 in Georges Township, Pa. the son of James and Mary Jerome.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife of 51 years, Marian Ann (Baron) Jerome and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his children, Douglas and Christine Jerome, Gregory Jerome and Sharon and Ronald Wesolowsky; grandchildren, Aaron Jerome, Ashley and Jason Miller, Gregory and Mindi Jerome Jr., Andrea and Kevin Snyder, Kristen Wesolowsky and Megan Wesolowsky; great grandchildren, Zachary Miller, Dominic Jerome, Mia Jerome, Milo Snyder and Finn Snyder; sister, Louise Seiaman and many nieces and nephews.
Augie enjoyed living his life to the fullest.
He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for many years with PennDot until his retirement.
The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The funeral service begins at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating.
Private interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
