Margaret Hilda Geary Mosser
Margaret H. (Geary) Mosser, age 93 years, of Vanderbilt, Pa., passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 in Sinclair Personal Care Home, Smock, Pa.
She was born on Tuesday, February 12, 1924 in Connellsville, Pa. daughter of Jacob Geary and Ida Mae (Caldwell) Geary.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William C. Mosser Sr.; a grandson, David A. Mosser; a grandson-in-law, Chris Hoffman; brothers and sisters: Elgie Geary, Carl E. Geary, Maude M. Fuller, Gilbert E. Geary, Glenn W. Geary, and Donald Geary.
Margaret was the last remaining member of her immediate family.
Margaret was a 50-year plus member of the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, Vanderbilt, Pa.
She is survived by two sons: Frank G. Mosser and wife Carolyn Kay of Perryopolis, Pa., and William C. Mosser Jr. and wife Carolyn of Vanderbilt, Pa.; grand children Melanie Mosser, Ward Mosser, Winona Hoffman, Miriam Howell and her husband Scott, Reed Mosser, and Dr. Michael Mosser and his wife Dr. Catherine Mosser; great grand children Braden, Juliana, Jonathan, Alex, Isabella, Ava, Sophia, Jacob, Isaac, Ethan, Evan, Delaney, Sadie, Luke, Annika; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Geary; and many nephews and nieces.
Family and Friends will be received in the EAST LIBERTY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 709 Main Street, Vanderbilt, Pa., on Tuesday, February 6, from 2 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor H. David McElroy officiating.
Interment follows in the Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery, Flatwoods, Pa.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of H. DAVID McELROY FUNERAL HOME, 803 Main Street, McClellandtown, Pa.
In lieu of floral tributes, contributions may be made to the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, Post Office Box 483, Vanderbilt, PA 15486.
