Sylvia Rechichar (nee Kisko) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina passed away at her home on Saturday, January 27, 2018 following a lengthy illness. She was 79.

She was born in York Run, Pennsylvania on Sunday, March 27, 1938 to Michael “Mike” and Elizabeth “Betty” Kisko.

Sylvia attended Georges Township High School in York Run and graduated in 1956.

Following many years living in the greater Cleveland, Ohio area, Sylvia and her husband Larry moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 1985.

Sylvia worked in the Sleep Clinic at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and retired in the late 1990’s.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brother Michael Robert “Bob” Kisko.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Adrian Lawrence “Larry” Rechichar Sr.; her daughter, Valerie (Tom) Kaiser of Marion, Ohio; her daughter, Lauren (Brian) Wilt of Acworth, Georgia; and her son, Adrian (Marcia) Rechichar of Charlotte, North Carolina; also her grandchildren: Matthew Kaiser of Hurricane, West Virginia, Julie (Jamal) Winfield of Acworth, Georgia, Jessica Wilt of Kirkland, Washington, Jenna Wilt of Acworth, Georgia, and Natalie Rechichar of Davidson, North Carolina, along with her great-grand daughter, Zoey Winfield; her sister, Janet Kisko of Washington Township, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.

A private Memorial Service for family will be held at a later date.

A Mass of Intention will be held at SS. CYRIL & METHODIUS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH in Fairchance Pennsylvania on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.
