Howard E. Washington
Howard E. Washington age 92, Connellsville, Pa., passed away peacefully, Monday, February 5, 2018 at his home.
He was born on Thursday, November 19, 1925 in Vanderbilt, Pa., to Howard Washington Sr. and Nellie (Bates) Washington.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife, Kathleen (Robinson) Washington.
He was employed 40 years at United States Steel’s Homestead Plant.
He served as a Trustee at the United Baptist Church, Connellsville, Pa
He was member of the Keystone CB Radio Club.
He leaves to celebrate his life are his children: Claudette Hatcher (Simeon) and Melvin Washington (Valarie) both of Connellsville, Pa., and Paulette Reed and friend Barry White of Washington, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; special friend, Vickie Pennington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the UNITED BAPTIST CHURCH, 126 North First Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Thursday, February 8, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m where Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
