Jason Matthew Kurnot
On Friday, December 29, 2017, Jason Kurnot was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 33.
A native of Hopwood, Pa., Jason graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 with a degree in Finance.
Jason also attended Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
As an avid golfer, Jason lived out his lifelong dream of working in the golfing industry as a Caddy at many nationally renowned golf clubs including Mystic Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania, Turnberry Isle in Aventura, Florida, Glenwild Golf Club in Park City, Utah, and most recently Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida. During his time as a caddy, Jason met and worked for countless people including celebrities such as Bill Mazeroski, Joe Namath, Lawrence Taylor, Luke Donald, Jim Furyk, Ernie Els, Dan Marino, and Michael Jordan to name a few.
Another of Jason’s favorite hobbies was fly fishing in the Rocky Mountains.
Jason loved life, lived it to the fullest, and his profession allowed him to development relationships with so many great people in so many locations throughout the country.
He is now at the right hand of God.
Jason is survived by his father, Dennis; his loving mother, Dorothy; his brothers, Jake (Joyce) and Joe (Ileen); his beloved cousin, Willie his niece, Kylee; his nephews: Zakary and Nikolas; as well as his girlfriend, Natalie, and her son, Joshi.
A celebration of Jason’s life will be held Saturday, February 10th, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the DONALD R CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, 1189 National Pike, Hopwood, Pennsylvania.
