Hazel Hunter Johnson
Hazel (Johnson) Hunter of Fairchance, Pa., age 96, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Hunter.
She is survived by her children Kim, Kathy, and Craig (Linda); grandchildren Dorinda (Jeff), Jay (Jacquie), Kelly (David), Letha (Steve), Greg (Lori), Chris, Evan, and Alan (Linda); six great grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren.
Hazel grew up in Confluence, Pa., and moved to Fairchance where she and her husband raised their family. They were devoted members of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Women’s Association, the choir, and participated in many church fundraisers. She also served as a Church Deacon.
She was a wonderful homemaker and fabulous cook!
She enjoyed her Ladies Card Club, gardening, shopping, cooking and entertaining.
Hazel’s family will receive friends today, Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 114 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m.
Interment at Addison Cemetery, Addison, Pa.
