Regis M. Remington “Reege”
Regis M. “Reege” Remington, age 86, of Hiller, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his home.
He was born Monday, November 16, 1931 in Charleroi, Pa., son of the late Harry and Catherine (Moss) Remington.
Regis was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the United States Marine Corps.
He was a member of the Hiller Fireman’s Social Club.
He enjoyed playing softball, pitching horseshoes, and playing cards, especially Poker.
Regis was retired from Allenport Steel Mill where he worked for 39 years as an Electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Vernna Remington; son Scott; two grandsons; sisters: Theora Benson and Mary Lou Pellick; five brothers: Albert, Robert, Edward, Bernie, and Mike Remington; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Regis was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Patsy, Harry, and David “Herk” Remington
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service today, Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the LaFAYETTE MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL OF PEACE MAUSOLEUM with Rev. Aleda Arnold Menchyk officiating.
Full Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion Posts 295, 940, 838, and 275.
