Kathleen Emma (Rhodes) Jones
Kathleen Emma (Rhodes) Jones, age 71, of Uniontown, was called home to be with the Lord of Friday, February 23, 2018 at Family Hospice Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born on August 13, 1946 in Masontown, Pa to the late Clarence and Sarah Rhodes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands: Floyd (Flee) Jones and James (PJ) Jones.
Kathy was a dedicated and devoted mother, grandmother, and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. The love that she had for her great-grandchildren was unparalleled. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was deeply involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives including: band, basketball, cheerleading, and everything else they showed interest in.
Kathy is survived by her sister, Joanne Jesso of Uniontown; two daughters: Roxanne (Connery) Swinson of Clemmons, NC and Marshalle E. Jones of New Salem, PA; 8 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Services are entrusted to LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 297 E. Main Street, Uniontown, Pa. where services will be held on Thursday, March 1st with visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and the funeral services will commence at 1 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery in Masontown, Pa.
