Mount Pleasant Junior-Senior High School was evacuated and students sent home Wednesday after a “non-specific” threat was found written in the building.

In an announcement on its website, officials said the district decided to dismiss, and noted students were on their way home by 11:05 a.m.

The district said they are working with state and local authorities, and cancelled all evening activities.
