Minnie E. Rhodes Junk
Minnie E. (Rhodes) Junk, 94, Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa.
She was born March 25, 1923 in Fairchance, Pa., the daughter of Joseph Rhodes and Stella (Sutton) Rhodes.
She was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa.
She worked as a Nurses Aide for the Uniontown Hospital.
Surviving are her son, Allen Junk and wife Andrea of Connellsville, Pa.; daughter, Dawn E. Bracalia and friend Al; grandsons: Aaron Junk and wife Janelle of Purcerville, Virginia and James Ryan Bracalia and wife Rachel of Pittsburgh Pa.; great-grandson, Carter Ryan Junk; great-granddaughter, Addison Rose Junk; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald L. Junk; brothers, Randall, Clayton, Dale, Delbert, and William; and sisters, Freda and Veda.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa. A Blessing Service will be held in funeral home on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Robert T. Lubic officiating.
Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery
