Kenneth Glenn Burkholder Sr.
Kenneth Glenn Burkholder Sr., 54, of Melcroft, PA., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Excela Health Frick Hospital.
He was born February 25, 1963 in Connellsville, Pa., the son of the late Violet Ruth (Keefer) Burkholder.
He graduated from Connellsville High School in the Class of 1982.
Ken served in the United States Navy.
Once he finished his service with the Navy, he worked for Bailey Machine as a Machinist for many years.
He was a member of the South Connellsville Rod and Gun Club.
He was Protestant by faith.
Ken is survived by his wife, Terri Lynn (Cossell) Burkholder; children: Kenneth Burkholder Jr. of South Connellsville, Pa., Sandra Burkholder and fianc* Brent Minnick of Mill Run, Pa., Rebecca Burkholder and fianc* Joe Wright of Connellsville, Pa., Sarah Burkholder, Melcroft, Pa. grandchildren: Logan, Aiden, Gabriel and Ellie; brothers: Domer Burkholder of Connellsville, Pa., and Harold Burkholder of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lena Burkholder; and two brothers, John Burkholder and Larry Burkholder.
Family and friends will be received in PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Additional visitation and Service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, (times to be announced).
Interment will follow at Stouffer Cemetery, Connellsville, Pa.
