Helen I. Toth Zentkovich Hanzely
Helen I. (Toth) Zentkovich Hanzely, age 93, of Buffington, Pa., died on Monday, January 22, 2018 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born on September 2, 1924 in Buffington, Pa., to the late Michael and Katherine (Ziots) Toth.
Helen was member of Saint Mary’s Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, New Salem, Pa.
She was a member and former officer of the New Salem American Legion Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Steve Zentkovich and Paul D. Hanzely Jr.; and a sister, May Mussey.
Helen is survived by four children: Loretta Harold of Canonsburg, Pa., Michael Zentkovich and wife Janet of Hibbs, Pa., Joseph Zentkovich of Moyock, North Carolina, and Kathy Ciampanelli and husband Gary of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four grandchildren: Shana, Stephanie, Brian, and Stephen; and five great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 25 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pa., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where a Panachida Service will be held on Friday, January 26, at 9:20 a.m.
Divine Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, New Salem, Pa., with Reverend Father Christopher R. Burke as the Celebrant.
Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park.

The American Legion Auxiliary 753 will hold a Service at 3:00 p.m.
Parastas Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
