PennDOT’s Fayette County Maintenance Update

Uniontown – Fayette County Maintenance Manager, Jason L. Spangler, today announced the following tentative work plan for the week of July 16, 2018. All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.

Bridge Replacement is scheduled on State Route 4038 (Quaker Church Road).

Paving is scheduled for State Route 4017 (Gillespie Road) and State Route 4027 (Cemetery Road).

Grate Repair is scheduled on State Route 3021 (Derrick Avenue).

Slide Repair is scheduled on State Route 4022 (Alicia Road).

Shoulder Repair is scheduled on State Route 711 (Springfield Pike), State Route 1009 (Bear Rocks Road), State Route 1050 (Buchanan Road), State Route 2001 (Skyline Drive) and State Route 2021 (Jumonville Road).

Shoulder Cutting is scheduled on State Route 381 (Indian Creek Valley Road), State Route 653 (Jim Mountain Road), State Route 1001 (Kooser Road) and State Route 2017 (Clay Run Road).

Pipe Replacement is scheduled on State Route 4021 (Rehoboth Road) and State Route 1051 (Breakneck Road).

Boom Mowing is scheduled on State Route 3013 (Palmer Road).

Signs will be updated, downed signs will be reset on various routes, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes County Wide.

PENNDOT has a 24-hour toll free number for residents to call to report any road maintenance concern. This number can also be utilized to report locations of dead deer on state highways. The number is 1-800-FIX ROAD (1-800-349-7623).
