Marlene D. Brienza, age 78, from Penn Hills, passed away peacefully at home with her 2 children on July 13, 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Raymond M Brienza. Loving mother of Daniel R. (Butch to Mom at times) Brienza & Lisa M. (Tim) Brienza. Daughter of the late John & Anna Wardzella. Sister of the late Leonard Wardzella, Rita (Bill) Pearson, Valeria (Bob) Childress, her identical twin sister Arlene Zorichak, Maryann Hunchuck & Paula Wardzella. Sister in law of the late Dolores (Joe) Kristobak; Marlene had many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews whom she adored.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice in Marlene’s name. Friends received Monday 4-8 PM at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills and 3-7 PM Tuesday at PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC., Connellsville, PA; Funeral Mass Wednesday at 12 noon at St. John’s Church, Connellsville, interment at St. Rita’s Cemetery
