Frank Berdar
Frank Berdar, age 88, Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born June 7, 1930 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania son of the late John Berdar and Mary Krupinsky Berdar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Berdar, John Berdar, Charlie Berdar, George Berdar; sisters, Margaret Berdar, Ann Kellar, Helen Berdar and Dorothy Gruber.
Frank worked as a Coal Miner for Duquesne Light’s Warwick Mine and was a member of the UMWA Local 6310.
He was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.
Frank bowled in the Wednesday Night Bowling League and also the Traveling League at Mount Vernon Bowling Lanes for many years.
Frank served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Left to cherish Frank’s memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara J. (Liptak) Berdar; son, Derek Berdar and wife Paulette of Uniontown; daughter, Debbie Crago and husband Scott of Uniontown; brother, Harry Berdar and wife Maxine of New Salem, Pa sisters: Marie Morgan and husband Ed of Uniontown and Barbara Lovis and husband John; grandchildren: Ashley Elkins and husband Jonathon, Lisa Kelch and husband Jeremy, and Tiffany Henry Stouch; two great-grandchildren: Abygale and Korbyn; many loving nieces and nephews who played baseball with “Froggie” on Sunday afternoons; numerous friends; and his pet cat, Keiko.

A Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at MOUNT SAINT MACRINA CEMETERY.
