Charles William Hart

Charles William “Bill” Hart, age 90, of Dilliner, Pa., formerly of Delmont, Pa., died March 2, 2018 in Waynesburg, Pa. Healthcare.
Mr. Hart was born October 27, 1927 in Carmichaels, Pa., son of the late John Talmadge and Helen Guess Hart.
He is survived by his son, John A. Hart (Kelli) of Waynesburg, Pa.; two stepdaughters: Karen Bradmon (Charles) of Carmichaels, Pa., and Joyce Drew (Gary) of Greensboro, Pa.; one grandson, Joel Morris (Becky); four step grand children: Michael Bradmon (Leanne), Dana Swensen (Mikael), Ashley Golden, and Christopher Drew; three step great grandchildren: Dakota Bradmon, Levi Bradmon, and Brooklyn Golden; a great great grandson Hunter Morris; brother-in-law, William Whipkey; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Hart; and several cousins, nieces, nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents are his first wife and the love of his life, Jacqueline Park Hart (died 1981); and second wife, Gloria Townsend Zuzik Hart (died 2013); and siblings, Robert Russell, Franklin, James E. Hart, and Martha Whipkey.
Mr. Hart was graduate of Cumberland Township High School in 1945.
He served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War, and was a member of the “Old Guard” who guarded President Truman and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Bill was a member of the First Christian Church in Carmichaels, and sang in the choir.
He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and a former member of the Carmichaels and Delmont Volunteer Fire Department where he was Assistant Chief.
He worked for many years for Consolidated Natural Gas Company at Delmont, Pa.
He enjoyed travelling in his Coachman Camper and attending rallies exhibiting old engines and tractors.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. in LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320 (724-966-5100), Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director/Supervisor, Robert Lippencott, Funeral Director.
Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 with Rev. Reagan Fike and Rev. Bob Mooney officiating.
Full Military Honors will be accorded at Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, by Carmichaels American Legion Post 400 Honor Guard.
