Rash of burglaries reported in Dunbar, Vanderbilt
State police are investigating a rash of burglaries reported in Vanderbilt and Dunbar Township early Friday.
Multiple items were stolen from the homes, including several purses, wallets, keys, a Carhartt jacket and an LG cellphone, police said.
Police observed footprints in the snow outside the burglarized properties, but were not immediately unable to determine how how the suspect or suspects escaped. Each property was entered through a kitchen window, police said.
The burglaries were committed between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m., investigators said. Police did not specify the number of properties or their exact locations.
