Mary Corazzi
Mary Corazzi, 97, of Fredericktown, PA passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 in the home of her daughter.
She was born January 6, 1921 in Fayette City, PA a daughter of the late Paul and Anna Kapcar Cooper.
Mary was a longtime member of St. Katherine Drexel Parish Fredericktown Campus where she belonged to the Christian Mothers of the Church. She was also a member or the Fredericktown Civic Club, BC Kickoff Club and Beth Center Senior Citizens where she delivered Meals on Wheels.
A homemaker, Mrs. Corazzi was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, cooking and baking. She was known for her cakes and pies. She was also a caregiver for several family members.
Mrs. Corazzi led a life that was full of love and kindness.
On May 1, 1954 she married Leno A. “Babe” Corazzi who died December 6, 1978.
Surviving are two children, Maria Coffman (Kenneth) and Lee Corazzi (Wendy), both of Fredericktown; seven grandchildren, Leno Corazzi II and Steven Corazzi, Jon, Michael and Elyse Ovial, Trey and Emily Coffman; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a son Paul Corazzi who died in infancy, a grandson Garrett Coffman, a brother Paul Cooper, two sisters Cele Melega and Ann Kukol.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 8 PM in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd., Fredericktown, PA where funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11 AM with Deacon Thomas Raymond officiating.
