Anna Mae Cunningham Rice Baker

Born in Mount Sterling, Masontown Pennsylvania on Monday, April 30, 1923, Anna “Mae” was the daughter of the late Amos and Myrtle (Lewis) Cunningham.

Preceded in death by husbands, Playford Rice (he was killed in World War II) and Clarence Baker; son, Baby Terry Baker; brothers, Paul Cunningham and A.W. Cunningham; and sisters, Jean Cunningham Maness and Vivian Cunningham Nathan.

Survived by daughter, Donna LaRosa Lindsey (John Lindsey); grandchildren: Lori LaRosa Gordy and John (Kathie) LaRosa; great grandchildren: Spencer Gordy, Carson Gordy, Baron Rabe (Bets), Salvator* LaRosa, and Isabella LaRosa; brother, Gerald (Georgia) Cunningham; sister, Dorothy Cunningham Davis; sister-in-law, Ruth Cunningham; and a host of much beloved nieces and nephews.

She attended the Methodist Church and was the church treasurer at McKendree Village, where she resided her last 14 years.

Anna Mae loved dancing, singing, playing piano, and committed much of her life in Pennsylvania to charity, helping others and as a hospital volunteer.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was much loved by her extended family and friends.

Life Celebration Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the Chapel of the Links Building in McKendree Village, Hermitage, Tennessee with a Reception following.
