Linda Marie Phillips, 59, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her home
Born August 19, 1958 in Connellsville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Donald J. Phillips and Wilma June (McClanahan) Phillips Ansell and husband Kenny who survive and reside in Dawson, Pa.
A resident of Perryopolis for the past three years, Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Perryopolis First Christian Church.
She was a retired teacher and principal at Lealman Intermediate School in Pinellas County Schools, St. Petersburg, Florida.
Linda loved to spend time with her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in -law: Jeffrey and Cindy Phillips of Dawson, Pa., and John and Vicky Phillips of Dawson, Pa.; step siblings: Donna and David Sundin, David and Tami Ansell, Judy and Bob Keefer; very close and dear friends: Donna Miller, Jackie, Norm and Matthew, Mariann Caterson, Gwendolyn B. Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 191 LIBERTY STREET, PERRYOPOLIS, PA 15473 (724.736.2515). Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 16, at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Melissa Snyder of Perryopolis First Christian Church will officiate.
Interment will take place in the Mount Washington Cemetery.
