Gregory Haluschak
Gregory Haluschak, age 48, of Star Junction, Pa., passed away on Wednesday evening, May 16, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side after a long battle with ALS.
He was born in Connellsville, Pa., on September 18, 1969 a son of Nicholas Haluschak Sr. and Irene (Uhrin) Haluschak.
Greg was a life long resident of Star Junction.
He was a member of Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholc Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
In addition to his father Greg was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Corbett.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother; wife, Mechelle Miller: children: Jesse James and Amy Nevaeh both at home; siblings: Marie Bobbs (Ronald) of New Stanton, Pa., Valerie (Christopher) Little of Temple Georgia, Michelle (Eric) Piotrowski of Villa Rica, Georgia, Nicole (Dave) Panicucci of Vanderbilt, Pa., and Nicholas Jr. (Sue) Haluschak of Dravosburg, Pa.
Greg’s family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today May 18, 2018 in the BLAIR- LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., where Prayers of Transfer will be said Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church with Father Anthony W. Ditto as the Celebrant.
Interment will be in Saint John the Baptist Cemetery.
Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church members will pray the Rosary in the funeral home at 3 p.m. today.
