Mary Ann Mlinarcik
Mary Ann Mlinarcik, 63, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at home surrounded by family.
Mary Ann was born on February 12, 1955 a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Maxine M. (Musser) Mlinarcik.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Mlinarcik; maternal grandparents, William and Anna Musser; paternal grandparents, John and Anne Mlinarcik and her aunts, Helen Mlinarcik and Marie Guappone.
Mary Ann was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.
She was employed by Teletech for many years and was a courier for the Herald-Standard.
She was a poll worker for the Uniontown Election Board for several years and was elected Judge of Election for the City of Uniontown Ward 5.
Mary Ann was a kind hearted, caring person by nature and always put her family first. She was a selfless caregiver, companion, and friend to her mother, grandmother nephews, great nephews, cousins, and several friends during their times of need. She will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers and sisters: Joseph F. Mlinarcik and his wife Mary, William J. Mlinarcik, Jane Sawka, Catherine Mitchell, and Richard D. Mlinarcik and his wife Lisa; her loving nephews and nieces: Joseph Mlinarcik III, Jarrod Mlinarcik and his wife Erin, Stephen Sawka and companion Megan, Zachary Sawka and his wife Natalia, Cory Sawka and his wife Michelle, Kimberly Brooke and her husband Pat, Melissa Mitchell and her husband Chris McGee, Hayley Taylor and her husband Andrew, and John Mlinarcik; her beloved great nephews and great nieces: Jacob, Alexis, Andrew and Elle Mlinarcik, Caleb Sawka and his mother Ashley, Landon, Skylar and Anna Maxine Sawka, twins Cohen and Lucas Brooke, and Caroline Brooke, Samuel Mitchell, and Theodore Taylor. Mary Ann is also survived by first cousins: Susan (Guappone) Catanzarite and Anne (Guappone) Clump; several more cousins; and many close friends.
Friends will be received in STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, May 21, until 10:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, with Reverend Father Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
The Lazarus Ministry will conduct the Parish Wake Service in funeral home today at 3:00 p.m.
