Richard J. Ruggieri
Richard J. Ruggieri, age 83 of Hopwood passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born October 22, 1934 in McKees Rocks, Pa son of the late John Ruggieri and Ann Gismondi Ruggieri. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Ruggieri.
Richard was a 1952 graduate of Uniontown High School. He worked for the United States Postal Service in Uniontown until his retirement. He served in the United States Army in Germany. Richard was a member of the APWU, Uniontown Postal Union Local where he served as treasurer. He was a member of General George Marshall AMVET Post #103 in Hopwood and the Sons of Italy. He enjoyed being with friends and family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the
ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where friends will be received on Wednesday, May 23rd from 2 until 8 p.m. and on Thursday, May 24th from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. Prayers of Transfer will be said at 11:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery.
