Rudolph Joseph Skovera “Rudy”
Rudolph “Rudy” Joseph Skovera, 72, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018.
He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Monday, June 11, 1945 to the now late Stephen and Justina Skovera.
He leaves behind his wife, Carol; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Marcia; three grandchildren: Wesley, Katelyn, Emily; sister, Joanne (Albert) Muha; and brother, Richard (Terry) Skovera.
Mr. Skovera worked as a Computer Programmer for 32 years in the airline industry.
He loved to play golf with his wife and friends. He was an avid sports fan — especially for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He loved most spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Clemmons.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the FRANK VOGLER & SONS FUNERAL HOME Clemmons Chapel, 2849 Middlebrook Drive, Clemmons, NC 27012 (336.766.4714).
A Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4820 Kinnamon Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas.
